Since 1989, Vernon and District Immigrant and Community Services Society (VDICSS) has served as a vital resource for newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and first-generation Canadians in Vernon. Through settlement assistance, language classes, employment support, and other services, VDICSS equips individuals with the necessary skills and support needed to thrive in the North Okanagan. Guided by values of equity, empowerment, progress, inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration, VDICSS is dedicated to fostering a culturally inclusive and equitable community and facilitating positive change.
